Okay, so I decided to update today after all.

Evie had her fourth softball game tonight. Now as I mentioned in an earlier post, Evie is the smallest and youngest on her team. And, unfortunately, she's not exactly the strongest player on the team. But she tries, and she has fun, and she's making some new friends.

So she's never had a hit in a game. She does pretty well at home and okay in practice, but I think her nerves get to her at the games. Well, her streak is at an end! She actually got on base tonight for the first time!

You might want to turn the volume down a little. I got pretty excited when Evie hit the ball, and I cheered kinda loud. And I cut the video short so I could do the happy dance in the bleachers. I was a proud Mama. And Evie's face later was priceless. Love that girl.
