Wow! Can't believe it's been so long since I posted! We're all hanging in there. Kelsey (my sister) was here for nearly three weeks, and my mom has been here for two weeks. Mema came down this week while mom was here, so I've had tons of help. Lisa, John's sister, is coming Friday to visit for a few days. I don't know what will happen in a couple of weeks when it's just the kids and me here. I asked Evie what she would do when Nana goes home. She said she would be sad. I will probably be a little sad, too.

Oliver is growing. He's doing pretty well at night. He'll give us at least one four hour stretch, then a couple of two or three hour stretches. Not too bad for a four-week-old. I know it will only get better. We have his surgery scheduled for November 12. It seems like kind of far away, but I know it will be here before we know it. In case you're wondering, he seems to have a reddish tint to his hair in certain lighting. It's not flaming red like Maggie's, but people keep asking if his hair is red. I don't see it much, but when you compare it to Maggie's, it certainly isn't red! Must be kind of like Evie's was when she was tiny. I wonder if it will eventually turn white-blonde like Eive's. He also has this amazing dimple on his right cheek. We haven't captured it on flim yet, but once he starts smiling we're sure to see a lot of it!

The girls are still doing great. They still really like Oliver. I'm waiting for reality to kick in once all of the visitors are home, but I think things will be fine. They both start "school" next week. Evie will go twice a week, and Maggie will go once a week. Evie's really looking forward to it. She loved it last year.

Anyway, we haven't been really great about taking pictures, but I'll try to put some up soon. Just wanted to let everyone know that we're still alive! If there's anyone still checking in on us...
