Scarborough Renaissance Festival

This weekend was a lot of fun, even if it went WAAAAAY too fast. On Saturday, we went with my family to the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie, TX. None of us had ever been before, and we didn't really know what to expect. It was fun, and there were a ton of weird and interesting people walking around. The weather turned out to be great: not hot, not cold. Just a nice day to be outside. Here are some photos, but we've got TONS more! I'll show more later.

One of the streets with shops on either side and some visitors dressed up.
Jousting
A petting zoo. (Not exactly sure how this fits into the time period, but the girls had fun!)
Noobler, the Tinker Gnome (red hat) & a leprechaun
Twig the Fairy playing for Evie & Maggie

It's because the photos were on the laptop instead of the desktop. :)

Wow! That looks like a blast! I used to live in Waxahachie as a kid and I totally forgot they had that festival. Is it over now?
