We had a good day today. We started out with green pancakes, which the girls loved. Isn't it awesome when kids are easy to please?? We met some friends at the park for a leprechaun hunt. It was supposed to be a nice day, but this morning was very windy, very cloudy, and cold. The kids hunted for gold coins, then we took our picnic lunch home. (The afternoon was beautiful, though, so unfortunately it was only nasty during the time we were trying to do something fun outside.)
I tried to get a picture of the kids in their green cute-ness.
Evie's fake smile, Oliver's distraction, and Maggie's attitude were all a problem.
Strike 1
Later this evening, Evie still couldn't smile, Oliver still didn't care, and Maggie fell asleep with her eyes open.

I tried, "Smile pretty, girls."
Strike 3
Oh, well. They did look pretty cute in their green today. You'll just have to trust me on that one.

I don't know why, but I like the top picture? Just something about it. The beautiful weather is killing me here in NJ because I am off to sub again - my house is a disastor!
