Meet the Teacher Night
We met Evie's kindergarten teacher this evening. She seemed really sweet and ready for the year. Evie was so super excited to see her room and her spot at the table with her name on it. She's got two friends from pre-k that are in her class. We had a good time checking out the classroom and all the things they get to do this year. Evie can't wait for Monday to get here. I certainly can. I've been praying like crazy for Evie, her teacher, and myself, and I'm doing better than I was a couple of weeks ago. However, I can't help but feel sad that my little girl is starting big kid school in four days. *sigh*

I was just telling my mom tonight that Evie was about to start Kindergarten, and I was about to cry! I KNOW we just met you guys and you were pregnant with Evie - that was just yesterday! Argh... this all happens too fast.
Anyway, we should get together on Monday to take your mind off things, if that would help you! I will be praying for you. God will give you peace, and you KNOW Evie will do great!
Tara, you and Evie will be fine. Evie will have new experiences to share with you, John and the kids. Can't wait to hear the kids singing songs and playing games that Evie learns at school. I wonder if Evie and Maggie will start playing "teacher and student" around the house instead of "mommy and daughter"? You will have a bit more time with Maggie and Oliver during the day.
Oh what an experience. Another step in life and really it is a big step for you and Evie. My prayers are with you and know all will go well. Love ya much
