More impressive than anything I saw in the Louvre, as far as I'm concerned!

I've never much been into art. I mean, I can appreciate a pretty painting and enjoy beautiful colors. I've seen the Mona Lisa in Paris, and I took a humanities class in high school that tried to teach us how to analyze paintings and sculptures. I get that art is something amazing, but I just never had the knack for looking beyond the brush strokes to see just what deep meanings the artist was trying to show. I guess I'm just too practical. I like things that have a purpose and are useful. It takes me months and sometimes years to decorate my house with pretties. I'm not a Fancy Nancy. I'm not artsy fartsy. But there comes a time when even the least pretentious among us can see a priceless work of art for what it is. I may not ever fully understand van Gogh or Picasso, but I totally "get" Evie...
