Okay, so now I've got a cute new background, and I promise I'll update on the girls' birthday party from last weekend. We got some really cute pics, I've just been kinda lazy about the blog. Sorry!

Until I get some new pictures up, I'll post some of the funny things I've saved that Evie has said.

January 2008 – Mama told Evie to pick out a bedtime book, and Evie was bringing it over to read.
MAMA: What book do you have?
EVIE: The one I picked out.

February 2008 – We were outside playing and it was a little chilly.
MAMA: Are you girls cold? Do you want a heavy coat?
EVIE: No. I just want a polite one.

June 2008
Playing outside. It had rained a lot a few days before and there were dried worms all over the driveway.
EVIE: (Carrying a garden rake.) I can use this to move the dead animals. They freak me out.
MAMA: Dead animals?
EVIE: Yeah, the dead animals.
MAMA: Okaaaaaay…
EVIE: See all these? (Pointing to the dried worms) These are dead animals. They freak me out.
