Back in June...

We had a visit from our favorite family, the Urlachers!! We got to see all four of them, and we had a big cookout with all our "old" friends. It was great.

The ladies chatted inside for a bit while the guys watched the kids play outside...

Until it was time for the game. Then the guys chased us out of the air conditioning so they could watch the Dallas Mavs win the NBA finals. They were pretty excited.

So during the game, we ladies chatted outside...
...while the kids swarmed the playground.(I'll tell ya, watching a whole herd of kids on this playground is one of my favorite things in the world. There's nothing like it. Hearing all the giggling and squealing. Seeing all the swinging and sliding. I LOVE it!)

Somewhere along the way, Evie ended up with my camera and took extreme close-ups of most of the kids. Poor things. I'm sure they had blind spots for awhile after this. Sure is funny, though.
