This week will be the real test. Are we all adjusting well? We'll find out for sure. This is the first week that I'll be alone with the kids. We're all taking Lisa to the airport tomorrow, so fortunately it will be a short week for me to get through. I'm feeling good about it, and I'm happy that I've been so spoiled to have help for this long.

Evie and Maggie had a good start to school last week. Maggie and Evie both went on Tuesday. Maggie cried a little, but she did fine after awhile. I think she'll enjoy it a lot in the long run. She has been extra clingy to me this week, so I felt like school wasn't at the best time in our transition period. But after a couple of weeks I imagine the tears will be a thing of the past. Evie went on Thursday, too, and she got to be the class leader for the day. She was so proud. She is loving school like I knew she would. I can't believe she's actually in real pre-school! Such a big, smart girl.

Oliver is still super sweet. He started smiling a couple of weeks ago, and he still does it randomly. I can't wait until he does it more often. His dimples are killer! He's been giving us a little more sleep at night. There's still plenty of room for improvement, but it's not bad. John was awesome on Friday night and fed Oliver some pumped milk during the night so I could sleep in the other room for awhile. It was a nice stretch. It's amazing how sleep deprivation affects a person!

A happy Daddy.Evie wanted to feed Oliver with a bottle. When she was done helping, she asked me if she was a good big sister. Oliver is so blessed to have two big sisters who love him so much already!
