Among all the craziness of the last couple of days, there have been some funny moments. The kids' doctor recommended that we flush their nasal passages with the NeilMed Sinus Rinse. (Google it if you don't know what it is...) Basically, you mix water and salt and squirt it up one nostril until it runs out the other, bringing out all the snot and gunk that clogs you up. We've done it to each of the kids a couple of times a day since Friday. (Yes, it actually works pretty well, even if it isn't fun to do.) Tonight we were doing Evie's nose. During the first squirt she hollered like normal. (She's QUITE a drama queen.) I told her that it got a bunch of snot out of her nose, so it worked. John asked if she wanted us to plug the sink drain so she could see what was washed out. During the second squirt she was perfectly slient. (First time ever...) Afterward, she was totally amazed by the stuff in the sink. She let me do each nostril a couple more times then informed us that "This is cool! It's fun!!" Um, ew? Both girls even wanted to watch John irrigate his sinuses and see what goodies he got out. What entertainment.

LOL. That's hilarious. I've used that sinus flush. It ain't hilarious, but it definitely works. Couple weeks ago, I felt like I was coming down with a cold and started flushing my sinuses twice a day. Did it for a week and did not got sick.
Hope all goes ok, Tara. Love ya.
