I'm fairly certain I've referred to our little Maggie as a Sour Patch Kid in the past. Pretty much describes her. At the dinner table this evening, she says, "Mama, I think you're soooo sweet!" I asked her why she thought that as my heart swelled a bit. "Because you give me sweet hugs and kisses!" Let's hear it.... a collective "Awwwwwwww!" Not two minutes later, the nut case is squirming her way under her chair, wiping spaghetti sauce from her face onto the carpet. When I told her for the umpteenth time to get up in her seat, I hear her ornery sing-song voice say, "You can't find me!" to the tune of "nana-nana-boo-bo0". Next thing I know, she's soaring off a step stool and onto the couch that's four feet away. Pretty impressive for a little nugget, as John calls her. Later she tells me I'm a "crazy old girl". Well. That's quite a sretch from thinking I'm just "soooo sweet". Gotta love this little nugget. What would we do without her? Those of you who've never met this bundle of energy, you don't know what you're missing!

Maggie wouldn't quite be Maggie without The Hair.
