Well, supposedly Oliver took his first two steps yesterday. I didn't see them, because I was in the other room when it happened. Therefore it's hard for me to call these his "official" first steps. But John claims that he was helping Oliver stand a few feet from the couch. There was a ball (one of Brother's favorite toys) on the couch, and Oliver took two or three steps on his own to get to it. John started hollering at me to watch, and of course the boy wouldn't do it again. John said if we can repeat it in the next few days it probably wasn't a fluke.
Last night I made an awesome dinner. You need to give it a try. It's easy (one of my stipulations), and it's yummy (my other stipulation). Check out thepioneerwoman.com for some interesting stuff. Her Chicken Spaghetti is what I made last night, and it was super great. There's a printable recipe right under the picture, but the long description is kinda fun. I'm not a chef, so I like step-by-step, hold-your-hand sort of instructions.

Go Oliver! Nana will probably start fussing after reading that. LOL
Hi there, YEAH for Oliver! yeah for mom :).
I love the prairie woman website! There is a photograph of a falling leaf that is spectacular. Was the chicken spaghetti the southwest crockpot one? It looks delicious and I think I may try it tomorrow because David has a x-country meet on Thursday and he always likes to carb up :).
Thanks for the site!
whoops - pioneer woman!
whoops - never mind - I should have followed your link! Still looks tasty though!
Debbie is always talking about strange coincidences. Yesterday was a good example of that sort of thing. Tara blogged about the Pioneer Woman website. Yesterday's Tulsa World ran an article, with recipes, about the Pioneer Woman's new cookbook.

Funny coinkydink, huh?
Yay, Oliver! I will be curious to see if he continues. I hope he does. Paige takes a couple steps and then gives up and crawls. Maybe we should get together and see if they can help each other out. Although I am pretty sure Oliver and Paigey have enough help already! :)
