Too Much Excitement!!

It snowed yesterday!! A really pretty snow that is still out there now!! The third one in a year for us in North Texas!! The girls have been so thrilled. They got out in it yesterday afternoon while it was still coming down and then again with Brother later. Unlike last year, Oliver loved it, too! And in all the excitement, I forgot to mention when I first typed this post that the girls have a snow day today! A whole day at home, nowhere to go, no reason to get out of our pjs. Oh, yes. It's exciting.

Another fun thing happened yesterday... Evie lost her first tooth!! It's been very, very loose for awhile, but she's been too nervous to get it out. We were all playing a game together yesterday, and it just fell out! That's how loose it was. She got a whole dollar from the Tooth Fairy last night, and she can't wait to go to Dollar Tree and get herself a new puzzle with it.

Fun! Glad you guys got some snow! Congrats on losing a tooth, Evie! The tooth fairy sure is generous these days!

You have more snow down there than we do in Stillwater! Evie looks kinda freaked out by the tooth. Was she?

The "word verification" for this comment is: hickicks. Sounds like you are saying "Hix" with the hiccups.

Lezli - John and I debated for a bit on how much to give for the tooth. He suggested $5! I told him to add that up between all three kids over time. That's about $300 just for losing teeth! We settled on $1. :)

Dad - Evie was freaked out when the tooth first came out, but I think in the picture she was just tired of posing. It took John three or four times to get a shot of it. And what's wrong with Brother's winter gear?? There's just a tad bit of pink in the gloves. Nothing that will permanently damage him. And the galoshes have no trace of pink or purple in them at all.

And, for the record, before we went up to CO, I tried to find Oliver some good gloves. All I could find were those really thin knit ones that don't keep your hands warm at all. So there. :)

His high school buddies are gonna give him heck about those pink gloves! LOLOL. Well, yeah, you didn't find good gloves down there where no one needs them! What do they use gloves for anyway? Getting ice out of the freezer? Opie's gonna make a trip to Academy! ;)

I deleted that other comment, by the way...

Too cute! The kids definitely looked like they were having a blast! I think Evie is gonna be like you when it comes to pulling teeth.

Ha :) Just now saw your Dad's comment about Oliver's gloves here after I made a comment about them on your latest post! Good thing your Dad is watching out for him.

That's funny that John wanted to give $5 for Evie's tooth! That would get very expensive for sure :)
