Oliver's Birthday Party

We had Oliver's first birthday party this past Saturday. All of our parents and sisters were able to make it, as was Mema. We invited the Urlachers to join in the family craziness, too, so we had a pretty good turnout for the little guy's bash. Fortunately, everyone was able to keep their gift-giving in check, and we weren't flooded with a huge load of presents. (That might have something to do with the fact that we already have almost every toy available for the one-year-old crowd.) Anyway, we all enjoyed ourselves. We had a balloon theme since Oliver is nuts about the things. All of the kids had a blast playing with them. Big "kids" included. The cake, made by our friend Annie Wetzel, was amazing. It was a great time of celebrating the first year of Oliver's life! We took about 130 pictures, so here are a very few of them. It was hard to get pictures without kids whizzing past! They were hyped up on sugar and balloon fun!

(I love how Isaac is chillaxin'!)

Happy birthday to you!!

The cake. Each balloon was a different flavor. It was fantastic!

Concentrating on the task ahead...

That's about as messy as it got. Not too bad.
