Sandy Lake Amusement Park

This place was so neat. If you have kids, it's definitely worth checking out. We took a picnic lunch and ate at a shady picnic table. There were a ton of county fair type rides, and most of them were for small kids. They also have a miniature golf course and an arcade. There's a pool that's not any deeper than 3 ft, which was awesome for swimming with the kids. For a day of fun with 6 people, it was VERY affordable. WAY better than Six Flags. It was smaller, yes, but it was cheaper, no lines, had tons of shade, and everyone was really nice. We will definitely go back!

Pony ride!
(Evie refused to give it a try. She insisted she likes to look at horses, not ride them.)

All aboard the choo-choo train!

Looks like fun. Why do they call it Sandy Lake? The water looks kinda clear to me.

Between the water park near Canton, Sandy Lake and the sprinkler park in Rockwall you have several fun places to go hang out.
