Ultrasound
We had another ultrasound today. Everything looks really good. The tech tried to get a good look at Oliver's face, but he had it smashed up against the side of my uterus like he was looking through a window. So everything looked really squished. We got to take home a couple of profile pictures, but they look pretty funny! His nose was smashed down really far. (I would scan them in, but we don't have a scanner...) The tech had a hard time seeing the cleft lip very well, but that's probably because Oliver was in such a funky position. Plus, the cord was in front of his face. So our little boy is already being a little uncooperative. :) Other than that, all of his organs look great. The cutest thing was that we could see Oliver sucking on his tongue throughout the ultrasound. So sweet! Based on the measurements, Oliver's estimated at about 7 pounds right now. I know that ultrasound estimates can be something like half a pound too big or too small. But babies at this stage put on roughly half a pound per week. So, if the ultrasound is accurate, I could give birth to an 8-1/2-pounder! Let's hope it's over-estimating. Evie was only 6lbs 13oz. Maggie was 7lbs 1oz. It will be interesting to see what the end results are! Check back in tomorrow. I've got a regular check-up, and I need to put up some cute pictures from the 4th of July weekend.

7 pound already??? He's bigger than Brooklynn!! We had our last u/s the Weds before we had her on Monday and she they estimated her at 6 lbs 8 oz, and 5 day
s alter she was 6 lbs 7 oz. I think is must have been about a half pound off... or she stopped growing?!? What a sweet baby, if he is that big he's probably not being uncooperative but more just squashed!! Can't wait to see the new pictures!
Ok, I've decided I need to start proofreading... Please excuse my typos! To my defense, I have a 16 day old baby who doesn't sleep at night! Ha, that's my excuse!
Isn't it common for each baby to be bigger than the previous? Not that I have personal experience or anything other than as a bystander.
7lbs!! My goodness, he's a linebacker. After what I witnessed a few weeks ago, it's a darn good thing he's coming third and not first, if you catch my drift :)
Yeah, it seems like each baby tends to get a little bigger. But not THAT much bigger! I'm tellin' ya, I feel it, too. I keep thinking I'm complaining more than I did with Evie & Maggie, and now I know why! Maggie was this big at the END. And it's only going to get worse. Oucheeee!
I was looking at some photos of our Disney trip in March and comparing to the photos I took last weekend. It's amazing how much bigger you are now than then. It might be exaggerated a tad cuz you are small, too. The little dude has definitely grown.
I know! We still have a Disney photo for our computer wallpaper. I was just telling John last night how big a difference a few months will make! HUUUUUUUUGE difference! Just think of how big Oliver will be four months from now. *sniff*
He will be playing catch with Daddy before too long.
