Hello Monday

I was busy making pancakes for my sweet daughters this morning. Their favorite breakfast. Evie came running into the kitchen, "Look what Maggie did! Look what Maggie did!" Those new "washable" dot paints were a great idea. At precisely the same time, Oliver was pitching a fit. I went to get him out of the exersaucer and smelled a dirty diaper. Well, that explained why he was mad. But wait... This was the biggest diaper breech in our family's history! Poop all the way down his leg into the foot of his sleeper. And it smelled like a herd of cattle. What in the world could smell that bad? The boy only eats breastmilk, rice cereal, and occasionally carrots. Anyway, it was bad. Yay for Mondays.

I'm trying to find a way to be a caring father, but I'm laughing too hard.

Love ya,

Dad

Every once in awhile, you post a photo of the kids that makes me crack up every time I think about it. Today's photos of Maggies is one of them. The top photo in your previous blog entry of Oliver doing his "bitter beer face" (or his imitation of Nana without her teeth) is another one.

Maggie is trying on her "green" before St. Patrick's day to see how it looks. hee hee.

Love ya,

Dad.

Oh what a morning. Do I need to come back. Ha. I'm glad the dirty diaper was not last week. The one's I changed were all confined in the diaper. How was your trip to Dallas? My trip home was nice.

Oh, Tara :) That's so funny... Well, I'm sure you weren't laughing at the time. But you will look back and read this and laugh. Probably.

Sure wish someone would invent something like the ball washers at the golf course! You put em in, pump it up and down a few times and they're clean! The gizmo could be attached to the washing machine so that the clothes are peeled off and the baby is delivered bright and shiny:-).
