We've had it pretty good the last few days. Nana & Opie visited this weekend, and John and I went out on a date Saturday. It was so nice to have a break from responsibilities. Of course I missed the kids the whole time we were away. What is with that? I spend all week wishing for a little break, then when I get one, I can't stop thinking about the little toots. :) Guess I kinda like them. Mema has been here this week, giving me another break. It's awesome! The kids sure enjoy the extra attention from the grandparents, and so do I.

Oliver had his 6 month check-up Tuesday. I've been concerned about how skinny the boy is. From the beginning of November until now, he's only gained 1 pound. I think with his surgery and illnesses, he hasn't been able to put on the weight. However, we found out that he has been putting on height just fine. He weighs only 16 pounds, but he is 28.75 inches tall! (That's 96th percentile for height!) Dr. Fry feels like Oliver is putting his energy into length instead of girth, so he wasn't really worried. If he wasn't growing much in any direction, that would be a reason to worry. Oliver got 4 shots, poor baby, and was pretty hacked off for awhile. Once he recovered from that trauma, he was his normal, happy self. He's really been talking more and more. Everyone else is convinced he's saying "mama". It sure sounds like it, but I'm a tad bit skeptical. Surely he's not already associating that with me. He does seem to do it more in my direction, though, so maybe he's just that smart. :) In other, very important news, the boy has been sleeping better the last couple of nights. This morning he slept until about 8:00. Both girls slept all night, too, so Mama's feelin' pretty darn good today!

I don't have any pictures on this computer expect for ones Opie left us. I'll put a couple up for other peoples' enjoyment. Maybe soon I'll get photos organized and post more.

I'm so glad you got some pics posted! They are so cute! Jeff and I still talk about the kids when we got out:). Whenever we are on a trip, we are always saying "the kids would like this!" -- you're stuck with it:).
