As crazy as my life is as a stay-at-home mom, God knows just when I've had about enough. And then He gives me just what I need. This morning, John is helping our church set up for a worship service at the park. I was in bed alone when the girls woke up. They got in bed on either side of me like they often do. Sometimes it's nice when they do this. Other times I get annoyed because I'd rather be sleeping, and they're elbowing, kicking, squirming too much. All you parents know exactly what I mean. This morning Maggie threw her little arms around my neck and said, "I love you so much, Mama. And I love to cuddle with you!" Evie said, "I like to cuddle with you when you're warm. When your skin is warm." And she reached out and cuddled my warm arm. Now they've been pretty good lately. Only testing my patience a little. But this really warmed my heart. I am so thankful that God lets me be the mama of these little toots.

When the girls are all grown up, you'll remember those things alot more than you'll remember the ornery things. Happy for you that you have times like that.

Love ya.

Being a mom is one of the greatest gifts. Just wait until you are "NANA". Love you. Mom/Nana
