Maggie was carrying a stuffed dog around this morning. She told me its name was Compost. Maybe I'm weird, but I kinda like that name for a dog. Very unique.

(Edited 9/27): On Friday evening, I was telling John about Maggie's dog's name. I asked Maggie if she even knew what compost was, and she just shrugged. Evie spouted out, "It's like dirt!" She said they talked about plants that day in school, so I figured they must have talked about compost. She said they didn't, so I have no idea how these two know about compost and what it is! Of all things. Weird.
