More Evie Stuff

We've been having trouble with Evie shoving Maggie HARD lately. I know Maggie can be a pesky little sister sometimes, but Evie is getting out of control with how hard she pushes her even when Maggie doesn't deserve it. Evie did it again this morning, so we had to skip going to the park to play after taking Maggie to school. (It was too wet, anyway, because of the storms that came through last night, but Evie didn't know that...) While driving to school, Evie asked again if we could go ahead and go to the park, because she had been nice since shoving Maggie. (I guess I'm supposed to be impressed that she can be nice for 30 minutes at a time.) I told her that she needs to show me that she can be nice for a couple of days, and maybe we can go to the park on Thursday when Maggie's at school. (Maggie got to go to the park yesterday while Evie was at school, so don't think I'm being unfair to her!!) I reminded Evie about how we missed going to the sprinkler park a few weeks ago because she had done something mean to Maggie. In the rearview mirror, I saw her eyebrows shoot up and her eyes get really big. In the most amazed voice, she said, "You remember that?!? It was so long ago!"

Right now she's playing with her V-Smile video game. She asked for my help on a puzzle, because, "This is complicated!" Sounded like a 12-year-old. Good grief! :)
