Earlier tonight, Evie was pestering Maggie. John told her repeatedly to stop. She kept it up until John asked if she needed a spanking. He asked if she heard how many times he told her to stop. She said, "Yeah. I think it was about eleven." Smart aleck.

John said he did laugh when Evie made that comment. It's not like we can blame her, really. You hear how John and I talk, right?? We've got it coming.

Hi Tara and Crew!

I thought I would catch up on your blob while waiting for sis to get home. I had to share the following family legend with you. Sarah was three and David nine when the following happened:

We were riding in the car and David teased Sarah about something - in the rearview mirror I saw her hit him with the back of her hand. Immediately I said "Sarah, you need to say you're sorry for hitting your brother." The tears began to flow and "I didn't hit him" was her reply."

"Sarah, I saw you, now say you're sorry."
"I didn't hit him" (continued crying")
"I could see you in the mirror"
"I didn't hit him"
"Sarah, what do you call it?"
"I didn't hit him, I whacked him."

I'm not sure if an apology ever came because David and I started cracking up!
