Happy Birthday, Evie!!

Our "little" girl is four today! I can't believe it. I really can't. I know people say that at every one of their kids' birthdays, and now I understand why! I literally do vivdly remember just having her in the hospital, bringing her home, her first Christmas when she was just days old. But now she's a big kid. She has her own ideas, her own sense of humor, her own hopes and dreams. She realizes that she doesn't have to do what we tell her, even though she should. She's her own individual person. It's been so cool watching her emerge and develop these last four years. I love her so much. She's a fun person to talk to. She's fun to play games with. She says hilarious things. She loves her sister most of the time. She adores her brother all of the time. She's learning to love God. She's super smart. She's artistic. She does really well in preschool. I'm so proud to be her Mama. I know John is proud to be her Daddy. We've certainly been blessed to have her in our lives. I can't wait to see what the next four years with this girl are like!
