Did I mention the tape that Oliver has to wear all the time? It's to keep the sun from "tattooing" the scar. He has to wear it for six weeks. Then we have to be diligent about keeping sunscreen on his lip. It's annoying, but it's a lot better than stitches and no-no's!
It was beautiful outside on Wednesday. We spent some time out in the wind getting some fresh air. We all needed it. The kids have been sick since last weekend.
Here's Evie's ginormous doll. Sure, it looks small in the picture, but look at it compared to Evie!
Here are some others from our old (as in 4 and a half years ancient) camera.
If you look at this one full sized, "Sparkles" will give you the heebie-jeebies.Oh, they're so adorable. I honestly don't think there are any sisters in the world who could possibly love their brother more than these girls do.
I had to post this one of Evie's goober smile. We've tried to take Christmas card pics, and several have featured this lovely grin.

Thanks for the photos, Tara. Love it.
Darn it... you are making me want a new camera (and we just got one! :) The pictures are turning out awesome!! What kind of camera did you get?
Sparkles is a bit creepy.
The kids are adorable, as always :)
Wow, what kind of camera did you guys get? It takes really great pictures! We've been wanting to get a digital SLR but they're so expensive... The pictures are great!!!!! Oliver is getting so big!! I love the giggles, Brooklynn will always giggle if I tickle her legs and tummy when I change her diaper! I see what you meant about the creepy factor of Sparkles... Yikes!! No wonder Maggie ran from her! Thank you so much for taking the time to blog and share the pictures, it really makes the distance seem far less! Brooklynn refused to smile for ANY of our Christmas pictures... the little poot... What do you do, I've actually put the spin on it that she just likes to save all her smiles for in person.. :)
Love ya!
Thanks, everyone!
We got a digital SLR. A Nikon D40. John found a great deal on Black Friday, and we went for it. I've been needing a hobby since having kids, so I'm going to try some photography. We'll see how it goes...
The photo of Oliver wearing the hoody and looking at the camera is awesome. I like those kinds of photos for some reason. Tara will be the next Ansel Adams or Annie Leibovitz.
Love ya,
Dad
