Evie and I have a few sympathy injuries. It's been kind of interesting around here. The girls have been a little extra ornery for some reason. Because of it, accident-prone Evie has busted her chin on the tile floor and cracked her noggin on her window sill. She has a beautiful huge bruise on her chin and a scabby knot on the crown of her head. The other night I was trying to get Maggie to stand up. She JUMPED up right under my chin and gave me a fat lip. So when we go out, we have a bruised chin, a fat lip, and a baby with stitches and no-nos on his arms. What a sight!
Here are some pics of Oliver from today. His lip is starting to look really good! He's going back to Dr. Genecov tomorrow and he'll have his stitches out.

Wow. Oliver is changing alot. Not just because of his lip being different, but his facial expressions are changing as he's growing. You can tell he's becoming aware of his surroundings and interacting with people. I guess because I don't see him every day like you guys, the changes are more remarkable. We used to visit you guys once a month so I kinda got to watch Evie and Maggie grow up in a more gradual manner. Oliver is almost 4 months old and I've only been around him once during that time. Three more weeks of teaching at OSU and I can get back to something more normal. Whatever that is. Thanks so much for the pics, Tara. Love yuns.
Dad.
P.S.
I gotta figure out how to detox Nana after spending that much time with the grandchilluns.
Tara,
He looks so cute and his lip looks amazing. I am so glad to hear everything went well. I have been thinking about you guys.
Talk to you soon

He such a sweetheart! I'm loving the facial expressions too! He's really starting to show off his personality more! I think the real Brooklynn started coming out around 3-4 months old too! You are so right that each and every stage is more and more fun!! He looks like he's healing well too!
Oh yeah, I meant to add our sympathy injuries from OK too... We had a really rough day at the Twa house on Monday.. Brooklynn somehow managed in just a few seconds to get her finger up my nose and scratch it in a way that made blood go everywhere in a matter of minutes which scared her and basically made the us both look like a scene of a bad horror movie, so after we got all that cleaned up while eating her "calm down bottle" she managed to scratch her eye with her finger... It was a mess that pretty much sealed the deal on the bad day.. it was all tears and pouty faces from there on out.. I swear I do cut my daughters fingernails I think it must have just been one of those crazy days! I think we have to have one of those every now and again to make us appreciate how perfectly uneventful all the others are!!
I hope everyone's goose eggs and boo boo's are getting better!!
