Nature Walk

A short walk from our house, there is a little park the kids like to play at. There is also a little pond that we've seen but never visited. When John was off work for a week last month, we took several walks in the evenings and finally decided to check out that pond. It's right next to the busy road, but it was really neat and peaceful with bunches of critters to check out. As we approached the pond, we heard several "EEEEPs" followed by big splashes. There were lots of frogs leaping into the water to hide from us! It was hilarious to walk around the pond and watch for the frogs to jump into the water. Nature is so neat! I love being able to see all the cool things God created and show the kids how creative and amazing He is. The girls loved it, so it's definitely a new favorite spot for our family.
