Playing Outside

Enjoying the outdoors before it got too hot this morning.
On a side note (although this is a really big deal...) Oliver is really thinking about crawling. Finally! He'll squirm and flop around on the floor until he gets to what he wants. It's not pretty, but at least he's realizing he can move from one spot to another. Mostly, though, he still stays put. But at least he's getting there.

We use to call David - the hunchback because he would drag himself by his left forearm everywhere:). He never did "crawl" he kind of went from the hunchback thing to toddling - who says you have to crawl first:).

The pictures are really cute - the kids look so charming outside with the nice green backgrounds!

Nice photos, Tara. It's gonna be hot here for a few days, too. Triple digits by end of the week. Better than subzero any day. Megan never really crawled either. Sounds like she did the same thing as David. LOL

I read in a parenting article somewhere that there are 20 some-odd styles of crawling. Some babies scoot on their rears, some drag their bodies like Megan did, some just roll. We haven't figured out Oliver's "technique" just yet since he's just getting started, but I think he's working on one. Probably more of a body-drag than an actual crawl. We'll see!

Remember Maggie crawling on her hands and feet? That was funny.

Wow, who knew there were so many ways to crawl! Enjoy not running after him for a little longer!!
